The Magnum 1.75L

The LOUIS XIII Magnum decanter contains a blend of precious eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne AOC. Since 1874, LOUIS XIII Cellar Masters have selected and blended the finest eaux-de-vie, aged in century-old oak casks, to retain its signature taste. This large, individually numbered 1.75l decanter is hand-crafted. Its famous design, with distinctive curves and a fleur-de-lys motif, is inspired by a 16th-century flask found in Jarnac. Founder Paul Emile Rémy Martin acquired it, and its design became the foundation for today's iconic LOUIS XIII decanters, with 20ct gold necks and dentelle spikes.

Set of 6 Glasses

Each LOUIS XIII glass is unique and hand-crafted by 9 Crystal Masters. Crystal is manually gathered, shaped, and mouth-blown into its first form. A narrow stream of crystal is delicately applied to form the final foot, similar to fleur de lys medallions on a decanter. The Crystal Master uses craft tools to ensure an even round form. Once obtained, glass facets are carved one by one into the crystal, resulting in the iconic shape. Like a cut diamond, light filters and bounces off carved facets, giving life to LOUIS XIII's mahogany robe. This unique hand-crafted savoir-faire means LOUIS XIII glasses may slightly differ in length or width. Each glass’ uniqueness results in varying tones when two LOUIS XIII Cognac glasses are clinked, inducing an enchanting symphony of chimes.
